YNPN – Des Moines

Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Des Moines

YNPN Des Moines is an official chapter of the national Young Nonprofit Professionals Network . YNPN promotes an efficient, viable, and inclusive nonprofit sector that supports the growth, learning, and development of young professionals. We are a local group of young nonprofit professionals who meet to share experiences, resources and connections to advance the nonprofit field in Des Moines. Our leadership is completely volunteer-run. We’re always looking for more energetic people to become active in our committees.

YNPN Des Moines rolled out our official membership in January, 2014. We encourage you to join, and to sign up for our e-mail list, follow us on social media and attend an event that interests you. We host multiple events each month, and would love to see you at our professional development opportunities, socials or other events. See our calendar for upcoming opportunities to connect.

YNPN chapters around the country are building stronger young leaders through programming, education, and networking that provides a career pathway for nonprofit professionals.

Through its national network, YNPN works to advocate for a sector that is more sustainable and effective in its talent recruitment, retention and development practices. YNPN is building a network of leaders around the country who can design, advocate for and lead this more sustainable and effective nonprofit sector.
